Finance Council
This council assists the pastor in the financial and business administration of the parish. Members are appointed by the pastor and have financial, accounting, management, law, or business expertise. It meets monthly with the pastor and business manager to provide financial and administrative advice on operating a fiscally-sound parish, insuring that parishioner donations are spent wisely.
The council helps prepare, review and approve the budget, monthly financial statements, and the annual financial report to parishioners. The council also assists in the development of the policies, procedures, and internal controls necessary to preserve the integrity of parish finances.
